Position Title: Platform Development Engineering, Platform Process Engineer
Product: Corporate Wide
Responsible for investigation, development, implementation, and maintenance of platform reference production processes. Work with Platform Architect, Quality and Platform Device Engineers to develop, transfer, and maintain:
- Workflow assembly processes, including detailed Work Instructions;
- equipment and tooling specifications – including mechanical drawings, specifications, and buy-off acceptance testing/li>
- the establishment, optimization, and stabilization of unit and integrated processes, including but not limited to
- production factor targets and reaching same;
- control points;
- line capacity;
- process capability studies (Cpk)
- throughput;
- yield;
- capital and expensed tooling budget;
- preventative maintenance policy;
- equipment/tooling spares;
- facilitization requirements;
- rework policy;
- cost structure analysis; and
- final test procedures.
- Together with Platform Architect and Quality Engineer, develop, transfer, and maintain assembly process and associated documentation;
- Together with Team, develop, transfer, and maintain production ramp plan, including working capital requirements, raw material, work in process, and finished goods inventory planning;
- Together with development team, define, document, and maintain processes for above described responsibilities.
Deep understanding of statistics, applied statistical methods, experimental method in design of experiments (DOE). Experience in both development and manufacturing transfer of volume consumer electronics products – domestic and offshore. Experience with LED assemblies and power supplies is preferred.
Educational Requirement: BS in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Math/Sciences required, MS preferred.
Computer Proficiency: General Microsoft Office, MS Project, and proficient in either his/her own use of or direction of other CAD Software (eg, AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Statistics software such as Stat-Ease and SPSS is helpful. Understand ERP and Documentation Management systems.
Experience Level: 10+ years in product development and/or manufacturing of high volume optical products.

Responsible for supervised investigation, development, implementation, and maintenance of reference platform and product reliability and performance testing. Work with Platform Engineering team and functional consultants to develop, transfer, and maintain:
- Testing – reliability and performance
- Laboratory practice
- Testing equipment
- Photometric characterization
- Reliability test routines
- Management tests and personnel
- Failure analysis techniques
- Cross-sectioning of samples
- Root cause analysis.

Position Title: Sr. Accountant (PART-TIME)
Department: Finance
Reports To: Controller
Summary: Responsible for overall management of the Accounting Department
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for directing and coordinating the work of a number of accounting associates in all aspects of accounting including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and various detailed analyses.
- Prepare Sales and Use Tax returns.
- Maintain detailed fixed asset lists.
- Responsible for daily cash management reporting.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Pleasant, positive, can-do attitude; with strong leadership skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization.
