Bob Gardner
Vice President, Manufacturing and Engineering

Mr. Gardner is the Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering for Lunera Lighting with the responsibility to successfully commercialize new lighting technologies and ensure the highest quality and reliability by design.
Bob has worked in the high technology industry for more than 25 years including 15 years in product development, new product introduction, and operations at Hewlett-Packard. At HP, he led the Optoelectronics Division (became Lumileds) in the development of the Superflux Lamp in pioneering the first first LED taillights, proving to be one of the most successful products and markets for LED lighting. Mr. Gardner has served as Vice President of Product Development & Engineering for companies such as Optical Switch Corporation, Semrock, Little Optics and has consulted for numerous companies throughout the US and overseas. Bob has tremendous experience in commercializing technically complex products and turning concepts into volume products. Mr. Gardner was awarded an SM in Management from MIT's Sloan School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University.
