One Million Lights
Act / Make a Difference
A little time, a little money. One million lights, one bright future.

We know better lighting can help people live and perform better. Nowhere is this potential greater or more evident than in rural communities where the primary solution for lighting is toxic, polluting, and expensive kerosene.

Lunera is working with One Million Lights, a non-profit organization to help achieve their goal of distributing one million environmentally friendly solar lights to schools, children, and adults around the world. For an impoverished family, these solar-charged battery-powered LED lights provide a safe alternative to the kerosene lamps they currently use while increasing reading light levels by 50x. For a young student, these lights offer a path out of poverty and a chance at a better life.

One Million Lights

At Lunera, we are donating a portion of our time, revenue, product, and facilities to help One Million Lights build and distribute the lights. Together, we think our efforts can add up to a significant, quantifiable change that will improve the quality of life for so many families and children living in rural communities.

One Million Lights also collaborates with local schools in the USA to increase awareness of global issues.
